(°▃▃°) Christmas Hats are back in stock! Each of your Pwnagotchi will be shipped with a Christmas hat.
How to use
You can use it as Pwnagotchi only. Once you recieve the package, just plug in the e-ink phat and turn it on and feed it with wifi! Or you can use these modules to develop other interesting project. If you need to change some other phats, you need to change the top lid. Visit this link to get 3D model files.
- attach the screen-hat (try push harder to make them well connected)
- single-click/double-click the button to turn on/off(for PiSugar1)
- use PiSugar USB port to charge (not pi-zero's usb ports)
- it takes about 1-2 minutes to boot up (you can see the screen refresh and the face shows)
- the battery would last about 4 hours for one charging.
- the pi would remain ON when charging and would reboot when stop charging(Only if you choice PiSugar1)
Other Setup
-
eject the tf card: you can cut through the tf card opening of the case, so you don't have to unscrew all the parts
-
wifi configuration: use raspbian desktop with an HDMI Monitor and keyboard, or create a wpa_supplicant.conf file in the tf card. (https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/configuration/wireless/headless.md)
-
Re-configuring your pwnagotchi: you need to create a config.yml file of the boot partition of tf card. (https://pwnagotchi.ai/configuration/)
-
Installing a hardware clock: there is enough space for a hardware clock module between the pi-zero and the screen hat. The wires should go around the tf card side, there is extra space in the case for them to go through.(https://pwnagotchi.ai/installation/)
For PiSugar 2
We have made a plug-in to display the battery level on the screen.
PiSugar 2 have RTC onboard and can detect voltage through I2C.
But unfortunately, pwnagotchi hasn't adapted with it yet.
We hope they can take advantage of PiSugar 2 soon, so please set an issue on their GitHub to push it.๑乛◡乛๑
